We decided to go to Maui for a week with only our backpacks and a rental car. We packed up literally everything we would need for the week.
Our plane was taking off from SFO on July 5th, we had no plans for the 4th so we thought it might be fun to leave a day early and check out the fireworks in San Francisco. We managed to get a ride to Pleasanton, CA. where we picked up the BART which took us to SF.
Jumped off at Embarcadero Station and explored the are a bit.
